Guided Maple Walking Tour 🍁

Add to your Stay & Play Pass with a behind-the-scenes, deep-dive on all things maple! Led by a member of our team, you will be guided on an hour-long forest walking tour, exploring all aspects of maple. Please come prepared for an outdoor adventure with warm, waterproof footwear, as the forest floor is uneven and conditions will change over the season.

Tour Details:

✅ Ages: recommended for adults and older children ages 10+ (children must be accompanied by an adult)
✅ When to come: times noted below.      

📅 Weekdays Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 12:00pm
📅 Weekends During Maple Season Saturdays & Sundays at 10:30, 12:30, 2:30
📅 March Break: March 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 at 10:30, 12:30, 2:30
📅 Good Friday & Easter Saturday: April 3 & 4 at 10:30, 12:30, 2:30

Tour Experience:

• Discover Fulton’s Family History and their legacy on this land for over 180 years.
• Learn about the sugar maple, its forest environment and the tapping of the tree.
  
• Step into history on the Heritage Path to learn about historical methods of collection and production.
• Walk through the sugar bush, where thousands of maple trees are tapped and learn about the evolution of methods of sap collection.
• Step inside the Sugar Camp and learn about production methods and the transformation from sap to syrup.
• End in the Maple Shop for a guided tasting of the four grades of syrup.
• The walk wanders through the forest and over uneven terrain.
